OTD Discoveries is a newly established Sunshine Coast support service built on a simple belief. Life is meant to be experienced, not just watched from the sidelines.
We offer NDIS participants something different from the usual support model. Our team is made up of young, energetic workers who genuinely care about the same things our clients do. Getting out, trying new things, building confidence and creating a life that feels exciting and meaningful. We are not just there to supervise activities. We are there to experience them alongside you.
We understand that the first step is always the hardest. Whether it is stepping out the door, trying something new, meeting new people or building independence, it can feel daunting at first. But we also know how powerful that first step can be. Our mission is to support you in taking it, and to be right there beside you as new opportunities, friendships and experiences unfold.
Through new discoveries, engaging activities and genuine connections, we want every participant to walk away feeling refreshed, confident and excited for what comes next.

My name is Roddy Mawn. I am 24 years of age and have been a support worker for 4 years now. I also have life experience growing up with a brother who has a intellectual impairment which has given me a passion for helping and understanding others. I’ve worked with people of all different abilities, but the one thing in common that everyone needs is a good support network and someone to call their mate. Someone they can trust, communicate with and most importantly someone they can rely on. Implementing this mindset with the great outdoors allows us to live happier and healthier lives. In todays society its so easy to get caught up in the normal day to day routine and forget how important it is to get outdoors and get back to the basics.
